Dr. Johnson, Director of Alliance Counseling, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 19013) specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. Dr. Johnson is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors.
Dr. Johnson is an interactive therapist who uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as his primary style. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address maladaptive thinking patterns for positive life change. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques, such as solution-focused therapy and interpersonal subjectivity theory to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Elizabeth Rodriguez, MS, MFTI
Elizabeth knows that parenting is a difficult job and brings about many challenges. It is her opinion,
however, that parenting is also one of the most rewarding jobs out there. It makes sense that there will be times when parents feel lost, unsure, stressed, overwhelmed and tired. Her desire is to work together with parents and their children to find the right strategies for the family to maintain and/or create a strong attachment relationships with their children. Elizabeth has worked with children with autism and other developmental disabilities and her goal is to help each individual reach their true potential. My hope is that together we can restore and strengthen the relationships within the family. Some theoretical orientations she incorporates include attachment theory, cognitive behavioral, and solution focused techniques.
Elizabeth received her Masters of Science in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from California State University San Bernardino. She is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and is pursuing her Doctor of Psychology degree from California Southern University
Rhonda Taylor MA, CSAT-C, MFTI
Rhonda is a relationship, trauma and addiction specialist. She helps individuals and couples
with trauma and compulsive behaviors transform their livesfor the better. Her graduate studies focused on Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Solution Focused and Gestalt theories. Rhonda went on to receive advanced training in Eating Disorders at the Los Angeles Institute for Psychoanalytic studies, and Grief and Death notification training through One Legacy - a Donate Life Organization. She also gained specialized training through The International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals to become a Certified Sex Addiction therapist (CSAT-C). She has completed training developed by Patrick Carnes, which requires multiple modules for certification. Rhonda has gone through a rigorous process designed to help her best help you.
Rhonda completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Southern California. She also holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology, and is a Marriage Family Therapist Registered Intern (IMFT 74436). Rhonda is certifying in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing at the EMDR Institute, and Couples training through The Gottman Institute.
Rhonda brings her empathy and passion, to provide a safe non-shaming environment, so that client’s may have the opportunity to deeply connect within the therapeutic relationship to improve their emotional well being. She is especially interested in premarital counseling, couples with relationship issues partners and individuals impacted with sex addiction, survivors of sex abuse, love addicts, affluenza (compulsive buying and spending), individuals with anxiety, depression, grief and loss.
Therapy can be provided on location or within the office after an initial consultation.
Serine Uguryan, MA, MFTI
After earning her B.A. in Psychology at UCLA, Serine went on to pursue her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University where she was trained in a variety of forms of psychotherapy. She has worked for the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute with some of the leading innovators in the field of mental health providing therapy for adolescents with mental disorders in individual, family and group settings.
